“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it’s faced." – James Baldwin

Quinton’s passion for design is deeply rooted in the ingenuity and creativity of his ancestors. He firmly believes that design is more than just creating something visually appealing; it’s about understanding the people who will use the space and crafting an environment that fulfills their needs. Quinton is determined to challenge the status quo of subpar design and be part of crafting exceptional environments. It was 3North’s Unified Design approach that attracted him to accept a full-time position after being a long-time intern. Beyond his work with 3North, Quinton is also the founder and lead researcher of Black Home Archive (BHA), which aims to understand the importance of Black domestic space and its place within larger communities. His collection of photos and histories of Black vernacular aesthetics is meant to be a resource for both designers and non-designers alike. When he’s not working, Quinton enjoys exploring both domestic and international travel destinations.

Quinton received his Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his Master of Architecture and Urban Design Certificate from University of Virginia.
