Ed is most inspired when executing site-specific, uniquely designed projects. He enjoys every phase of a project — from financing, conceptual planning and design, all the way through construction. At every point in the process there are new discoveries, new things to consider, and ultimately the joy of seeing it all come together to the satisfaction of the client. Ed’s success as an architect is inextricably linked to his ability to take a step back and reflect on the bigger picture, whether at work or in life. On the weekends, it’s not uncommon to find Ed sitting on his porch swing strumming his banjo or riding his bike.
Ed received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
