Process
The Homestead’s outdoor aquatics complex interprets the history and ecology of the Allegheny Hot Springs. At its heart is a large, geothermal pool that is accessible year-round and is situated between Café 1766 and Cabana dressing rooms. Surrounding the pool are water features that interpret mountain hydrology: dual half-pipe water slides accessed from a trellis-designed platform, a river tubing watercourse, and a splash pad.
