Process
This impressive Georgian Revival house, designed by William Lawrence Bottomley, was renovated over the course of a decade for two different families. A significant addition at the rear is composed glazed gallery infill, designed to preserve the original garden façade, which connects to a substantial, two-story brick and limestone pavilion raised on an arcade; a colonnaded porch overlooks restored Virginia gardens designed by Charles Gillette.
