The Homestead presides over a chain of ancient mineral springs which, since their discovery in 1761, have given rise to a vast resort with amenities of every conception – including the Canyon Ranch Spa.
Guests are greeted with a traditional, tiered cast stone fountain in the enry courtyard. The main pool features glass tile and rim flow coping, as does the whirlpool, which flows directly into the pool. Flanking the main deck are private cabanas and the River Reflexology Walk, with custom raised mosiac pebbles and natural hot springs. The historically restored Octagon Pool bubbles nearby with natural hot spring water. A fire pit separates the whirlpool from a Finnish sauna and deluge shower, which also acts as a water feature. Interpretive signage throughout the site informs and enlightens visitors.
