Process
The Prospect Row townhomes in Tallahassee, Florida, are a key entry featured to the larger multifamily community created by Zimmer Development over several years. Land acquired from CSX was dramatically transformed into a vibrant student housing center with rich interior and exterior amenities. At the southernmost entrance to the Enclaves community, 3North design the townhomes provide a higher end living experience, as students transition to more focused and sophisticated living.
The facades draw inspiration from Florida seaside communities, with a traditionally inspired palette of whites and dark greys. The ground plane features a lush planting palette, taking advantage of the sub-tropical climate and creating intimate gathering spaces within in the landscape. The group of townhomes framing the entry road to the development on the East and West sides, act as entry features for the larger development while providing opportunity for elevated student living.
