In the spirit of Sabot at Stony Point School’s Reggio Emilia approach, the firm designed and facilitated a series of IQ Charrettes with teachers, parents, and students to integrate the merging of two private schools in a historic house and grounds. The Tudor-style house and “Virginia” gardens were embraced as teaching elements, and an IQ Master Plan resulted in the construction of a new assembly building, designed by 3north to signal and accommodate future growth.
